ARAD OPEN 2009 - ENGLISH - Children Tournament
CHILDREN TOURNAMENT: open tournament for under 12 years old children (born after 01.01.1997)
ORGANIZER: Vados Chess Club Arad, with the support of Arad City Hall and Arad County Chess Association.
TOURNAMENT VENUE: Arad Sports Hall
PLAYING SYSTEM, GAME TEMPO: swiss, 9 rounds, 90 min/game
PRIZES:
1- 300 RON; 2- 200 RON; 3-
100 RON; 4- 50 RON; 5- 50 RON
The first three classes in
each age group - 8, 10 and 12 years - will receive cups and medals, all
participants will receive diplomas.
All children will receive
candy from the organizers.
1 euro = ~ 4.2 RON
ENTRY FEE:
8 euro
Attendants who want
accommodation through the organizers will pay a fee of 8 euro.
Late registration : Those players whose application will be registered after 25.07.2009 will pay additional charge of 5 euro

As
a means of relaxation in Arad we recommend Neptune swimming pool complex (recently
upgraded from an investment of over 3 million euro) - the largest swimming pool
complex in Eastern Europe, which covers an area of about 28 hectares of
greenery and includes 5 pools and water slide, more than 100 bars, terraces,
restaurants, discos, clubs, internet cafe to which are added tennis courts,
volleyball and the minifotbal field. In the night, the swimming pool complex becomes
the central attraction by numerous terraces, clubs and discos with permanent
